News of the day for me was Kwon taking over as starting MLB. Glad to see Lovie doesn’t care how much you’re paid, or where you came from but how you play. Also after watching Moore, who I thought should’ve been on the most disappointing list, get torched Saturday, S Moore will be running with the ones at nickel. Gilkey, who once again had a terrible outing as back up center, has been replaced by Warren behind E Smith. Way to go Lovie, can’t have the same guys not getting better keep their jobs. I thought all three of these changes needed to be made after watching Saturday, and Lovie didn’t blink at doing just that, way to go.

Excuse me, I meant L Johnson.

Sorry Surferdude, but I rewatched the game last night and except for the two bad center-QB exchanges, Gilkey had a good game.
He ran and pass blocked well.
I’m no big fan of his, but I also hate to see a player become a scapegoat when it isn’t deserved.
Buc fans have a history of picking out one player and blaming everything on him except for the problems in the middle east.

I agree. When playing guard Gilkey looked good.

In order to dress on Sundays, he has to be able to back up both guard spots, and center. I don’t think he’s good enough to be a starting guard, and maybe you see something different then me, but he’s been a disaster everytime he’s played center, so what good is he?

Well winston will improve espically in front of tampa bucs fans the next 2 preseason games-I’ll be down in florida to see what winston does against the Browns Go Bucs.

Someone has to train to be the back up center. Gilkey has little experience, so he got some and mistakes were made. That is what preseason is for. I’d rather he gets the experience and doesn’t have to play, than not get any and be forced to play with no experience and make the mistakes when it is a regular season game. Other than that I really have no opinion on his ability or performance.
