I just viewed your initial Pewter Pulse Episode 1. This is a great idea, I enjoyed your comments and look forward to more of these episodes. This will help me to keep current regarding the various thoughts and goals of the Bucs leading up to the draft. Keep up the great work.

When you say “new” … ?

Well, the video quality looks better than when PR was doing them back when Charlie Campbell was here (just referencing the last time I remember seeing video…nothing against CC). I would recommend more flashes to pictures from games than you currently have in place, only because they help to break up the monotony of just sitting down and talking with no active background. Maybe even a few cuts to game video instead of just pictures would be even better. The content of the dialogue in the video was okay, there was some new information in there.

Excellent Pewter Report addition, well done guys! I look forward to this every week. Good topics and good conversation that Buccaneer fans can appreciate. I also feel the resulting conversation makes sense. Something that can be lacking on the message boards IF you know what I mean.

Nice listen. Sure is easier to sit down and blab about the Bucs than to sit in front of a keyboard and slug out a story.
Had to chuckle though when you two talked about how season ticket fans might react if the Bucs started cutting veteran players to save money after raising prices.
You two seemed to be of the opinion that the Glazer boys worry about how the fans feel but past actions pretty much prove they don’t.
The Bucs purged the roster of some high priced veterans in Morris’ first year including Derrick Brooks and Warrick Dunn.
I also had the opportunity to take to one of their representatives today about the ticket price increase and who it affects the most.
I won’t mention his name because he seems like a nice young man who is very earnest and repeats the company line like a good soldier.
We have gone around before on a number of topics and I know he must cringe when he hears that I am waiting on a call for him.
But what disappointed me the most about our conversation was he seemed dumbfounded that I couldn’t enjoy a game at RJ Stadium unless the Bus won.
As I told him today, I don’t care how hot your food is or what kinds you serve. Any type of music you generally play on the speaker system is pretty blah, and I haven’t seen a half time show that ever knocked my socks off.
Even if I had a waiter bring me up a rare New York strip steak with some golden crispy fries it would still be unpleasant if the team lost
This seemed to be a hard concept for this young man to get his mind around and I wonder now if it permeates in the organization.

drdneast; very good point, but he’s still a salesman and has to sell the product he’s paid to sell. You’re just shooting the messenger. If you feel so strongly about it then maybe saying no thank you and I’ll be happy to pay for season tickets when they start winning?

Again Horse…..Right on the money. Just dump the season tickets until you see a consistent winner.

    Good stuff. Thanks guys!

Unlike you and me drdneast, there are a lot of folks who do go to the game just to be at another event and pay little, if any, attention to the game itself. They’re the ones who spend half the time looking at Facebook or fantasy football on their cell phones, going back and forth to the beer line which results in spending more time in front of a urinal, going to Pirate’s Cove and hooking up with friends, they arrive late, they leave early, they stand up and wave their arms while on their phones yelling, “Do you see me?”, they stand in the concourses and watch TV, eat every offering in the concession stands and in general, are what by old friend BF47 would call “casual fans.” Me, I’m there to watch the game. Never missed a play in 40 years.

scubog; you are most definitely one of the biggest Buc Fans and I so respect you for it and your comments. You might be approaching an age where you trade in all those seats and get a couple box seats?

      1. 7.1.1

I do have two Club seats, four seats in from the 50 yard line aisle and four lower bowl seats on the 35 yard line. My wife and I usually sit in the lower bowl seats.

Glad you guys have brought back video! As a video editor, there’s plenty of things I can suggest, but I know you guys will learn as you go and make it better each week. Honestly, content over quality is what most of us fans are looking for. Keep the content great and make the quality steadily better as you go along, and I’m a happy Bucs fan. 🙂
