I’ve always been amused when I hear “Player X’s stock is going up or down” after the season is over. According to who? What reason other than the media’s opinion changed the film? Who ranked the player in the first place? Does the spirit Joel Bauschbaum speak to Charlie Casserly as he dreams about getting another GM gig? Fun though.

I like Charlie, especially since he’s a Pewter Report alumn. However, because he is an alumn I was very disappointed in the mock he released on the 27th that had Tampa picking 42. Since the official draft order has been known since the beginning of Feb, I tend to stop reading mock drafts as soon as I see that. If mockers can’t get the order right, why would I then put stock into their predictions. It seems sometimes reading articles he does on Tampa that instead of having a better insight to the team that it’s almost like reading articles from someone jaded by them.

I stopped listening to the expert outsiders a long time ago. None of them care to bother to research anything related to the Bucs. When looking at our draft needs even Charles Davis of NFL network omitted the fact that we have Kwon Alexander as our MLB when reviewing our draft needs. Most have us picking VH3 because they have no clue Lovie, and his coaches screwed up our secondary more then the players. The final straw for me was when they dissed Jameis for rookie of the year, fans knew better then the media. The only mocks I look at are right hear at PR. Every poster on this board knows more about our needs then all these asshole outsiders.

Hail suferduddes! Lovie and his relatives screwed up our secondary.

Normally I wouldn’t bother to comment on this but its Sunday, a slow day, and I got nothing better to do.

I imagine that Charlie Campbell is disappointed in you because if you clicked the link above you would see that he has the Bucs picking 38 in the 2nd round – Keanu Neal. The only mock that Charlie has released on the 27th is a 2017 mock which nobody should be looking at. Lol.

If you wanted to be a truly discriminating observer, you would notice that Charlie has the Bucs picking 38th ahead of the Jags when the official order should be 39th after the Jags. Feel free to crucify him for that. The draft order flips from 1-9-9 to 2-8-39 and varies in the following rounds because there are other teams with a 6-10 records. The Bucs will not pick at 9 again until the 5th round 5-9-148.

There are people who tell their kids to watch the light when crossing the street. Others say watch the cars because the damn light never killed anybody. My advice – watch the pick, not the position!

Interesting…I would say your criticism of my post was well deserved…if it were true. The original mock I was referring too is no longer posted on the site and the #42 pick was something I pointed out when it originally occurred. You can watch the pick all you want, that’s your choice. I’ll just choose to read other mocks.

Walter Football is where I early go to start finding out what the pitch is for whoever. It’s still gut feeling after watching numerous past games. Whoever we pick will be much better than who I could select. Licht has an agenda, strategy, rating of present and future players which we aren’t privy too. Whoever we pick I will be happy because I am confident in what Licht is doing. Go Bucs!

With all the Defensive Linemen available. What if Tampa trades down with LA Rams Tampa only gives up the #9. Tampa would get from Rams is #15(Rd-1)#76rd-3 and future no#4 in 2017. Tampa could moved back in Rd-1 or pick players they needs. TB picks#15(La Rams #39(TB Picks; #74(TB Pick,# 76(LA pick,#108(TB Pick (Future 2017-4th Rd LARams)#148(TB 5th Rd(148) Tb6RD (#183) Was 6th Pick(#197).Tampa can get a player in Rd-1, A player in No#2 Mult picks in Rd-3 etc. This is a win win sistutation. Go Bucs

25 days left till we know for sure. I read the mocks to entertain myself at work but really don’t put a whole lot of stock in them. Aside from Ramsey for some odd reason falling to us, I see us taking DL at #9. I’m still convinced our secondary isn’t as bad as they played under Lovie. Add some pass rush and it’ll work itself out

“Draft day dreams and caviar wishes.” Count me all in. Since the days of Culverhouse this was our time to dream. To imagine a Testaverde arm mated to a Montana brain. Or even some good players to go with Thunder and Lightening – or maybe a really good coach partially paid for with some future chips. For the Bucs and we fans this is high season and all hope stands before us measured, timed and analyzed by coaches with intuitive Freudian skills…but only short-term contracts. But count me all in as long as we go get the big guys. ‘Cause in football, big guys matter. Go Bucs!
