It’s all about #5! LoL! Dominick, who said he would’ve passed on Winston, made Freeman his first round pick! It’s O.K. Dom, at least when you say dumb things on ESPN, it doesn’t set my Bucs back ten years. Thanks for the memories.

It’s a sad story. But it’s on Josh and the blame Schiano nonsense comes from the stupid.
Hopefully Josh can move on and didn’t blow the money he made while in the league.
THAT close to a huge Buccaneers contract. Whew.

Freeman was actually with the Vikings through the duration of the season and his one year 3-million dollar contract. He was never cut by them. Though the reports of him showing up late to meetings etc would indicate he probably would have had he signed for a longer term deal.

It am still lobbying for the Saints, Falcons or Panthers to hire Mark Dominik in their personnel department. Get out of the studio Mark! We…I mean they…need you!

I thought Freeman made 8 million with Bucs and 2 million with the Vikings 2013? Don’t forget the several million he made from 2009-2012. I don’t feel sorry for him; he didn’t perform yet got many millions. I was a big fan of Freeman until after 2011. Early 2013 I heard it from someone inside OBP and also a friend of a friend of Freeman that he was partying way too much if you get my drift.

IT is amazing how this young man’s career has just collapsed. The year before he gets cut he breaks the record for passing yards and TD’s in a Season, and looks to have a bright future. He never tests positive but admits that he has a problem, at the same time that Talib has tested positive for a drug used to mask other drugs. I am convinced that Talib had something to do with Freeman’s fall. Talib was in love with himself and was going to star where ever he was. Freeman still had plenty to prove and his career was destroyed. If the organization had as much concern with Freeman as they seem to with Winston, he might still be playing in Tampa. He had awesome skills. I would love to see him picked up in Tampa as a back up.

How many years have we been hearing about these rumors of drug and/or alcohol addiction? I have two good friends who were addicted to serious drugs – one was pain medication the other cocaine – fortunately each one had loved ones that helped each one thru the detox process followed by the hard part of learning to live sober again. The key was they wanted to get clean. I cant help but wonder each time I read about the roller coaster ride of Freeman, did he take advantage of the NFL drug rehab program or even a private program? Serious cases can take a year so why , why are we still hearing the same repeated story? Never seen talent just disappear so drastically without a major career threatening injury, etc. Sad,. so sad. I was a huge Josh fan and still pray he can turn his life around even without football at this point.

Spoke directly to Mark Dominick on his Sirrus NFL show and told him as a season ticket holder since 1980, someone, either Freeman (preferably} or the organization owned the fans an explanation of what went wrong. All Dominick would offer was during the 2012 season it was determined the QB was not spending enough time honing his craft in the classroom so a decision was made to draft a QB (Glennon) in 2013.
I was also told by the Sports Babe on air one day that Raheem Morris used to go to after hour bottle clubs with the Free. If true, not a real good role model for the coach. Whatever the case, I don’t think Schiano had anything to do with the Free’s epic collapse as a certain bloviated radio host claims. Something’s wrong with a player though when he can’t even call a play in the huddle without the aid of a headset which results in two back to back delay of game penalties.
