Getting out of bounds would not have helped Evans as it was 4th down and he was short of the line to gain.

Gilkey is terrible but everyone already knew that. Well everyone but the coaches.

The thing is, our OLine is terrible…they didn’t just turn terrible today….so, why does Arroyo keep calling plays that require a half-hearted effort from these guys (like requiring them to pass protect for a count of 3)….it’s not going to happen….and Josh McCown is just as bad, so don’t expect him to adapt….he’s going to hold the ball too long, pass into coverage, and so forth….if you’ve got lemons the only thing you can do is try to make lemonade….it probably still won’t work….but trying to make gourmet cheesecake with a bunch of lemons just ends in disaster….every time!

Cut Gilkey. Guy lost us the game. OL was better but also had an extra big man in at most times. Wouldn’t mind them trying that format out more often. Regardless Martin did not exceed expectations. Would like to see some evaluation in these last few games. And I think we are more likely to win with the non-starters any way. They always seem to want it more.

I am glad someone got in someone’s face. There needs to be a “C” on Evans chest.

It made absolutely NO difference that Evans didn’t get out of bounds. It was a 13 yard gain when we needed 20 on 4th Down!

If this was the first time ever that Gilkey snapped the ball, then he was put in a position where he would fail. He was bad enough and then to add that duty … wow, what a mess. Felt sorry for the guy…
