Nope, still no personality. Maybe if and when he signs a contract and cashes in he will give us at least a little smirk. If this football thing doesn’t work out he looks like a good candidate to sell insurance. Was this interview at the Football Hall of Fame or a funeral parlor?

Wasn’t going to watch until I read Scu’s reply. Need a second cup of coffee after that interview. I think it’s funny he hasn’t signed his contract yet because they don’t want him to surf!! The outrage!! Cheer up Titan fans, if he doesn’t break his neck, or get eaten, or maimed by a Tigershark, I’m sure he’ll sign after this month off. That’s where I’m guessing he’ll be, in Hawaii surfing!! Hang ten bra!!

Mariota is as Mariota does! He’s just who he is and if he can play, who cares? As for as his contract is concerned, I’m not buying the “no surfing line. Rod Tidwell said “show me the money”. I think it’s about contract offset language. If you cut me, show me the money – twice!

I’d tend to agree with you Mac, I think it’s more about offset language than anything else. But his personality I think was the determining factor in why they chose Jameis. I mean this guy is like listening to a zombie speak.

Mariota is looking more and more like a guy who doesn’t want to be a professional football player. I’m sure he and his family are interested in a contract that is guaranteed money heavy so when he chooses to quit football next year he will have plenty of money to live like a Hawaiian king…Hawaii is a beautiful and easy living place- especially if your family is based there. He could seriously play one season and cash out…think we dodged a bullet…
