From the Buccaneers communications department:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced on Sunday that the team has promoted linebacker Cameron Lynch from the practice squad to the active roster.
Lynch (6-0, 229) was signed to Tampa Bay’s practice squad on September 3. The Lawrenceville, Georgia native originally entered the league with the Rams as a college free agent in 2015. Last season, he played in all 16 games for the team, recording four special teams tackles. Lynch, who played collegiately at Syracuse, spent this past offseason and preseason with the Rams, before being waived on September 3. He wears No. 52 for the Buccaneers.
The team also announced that wide receiver Jeremy Butler has been waived.

I’m glad we’re attempting to find young LB’s to help David and Alexander and hopefully keep the slow moving Daryl Smith off the field as his days of quality playing has past. Go Bucs!
I was hearing a lot of positive chatter about Butler. That he would contribute in Charlotte tonight. Guess not.
Horse, you think this guy is going to play linebacker for us? I’m pretty sure he is simply a special teams player unless we continue our streak of injuries!
Go bucs! We haven’t competed with Carolina in awhile, let alone beat them! Let’s get us one tonight! Only thing that will suck about us beating Carolina is that the media won’t talk about what we did right, it will only be what’s wrong with Carolina 🙁
was hoping Butler would be at least given the opportunity to give a spark to the bucs sluggish WR corp that can’t get separation consistently but lets cut him to sign a special teams LB that won’t get a single snap or ST tackle for that matter
