OG/OT Caleb Benenoch was hurt during one of the early drills and limped off with the help of a trainer. I never saw him taken to the locker room or “carted off”, but I may have been looking elsewhere.

Got to watch practice Saturday (until the lightning) and Sunday with Pinkstob and his wife. Great couple. I tried to get him to acknowledge Jameis Winston was the right choice, but he’s holding out on his three year evaluation period before commenting.

For those not in attendance who have disdain for ASJ and think Cameron Brate is going to unseat him. ASJ looked like an absolute beast catching the ball with his 260 pounds on a 6′-6″ frame while Brate dropped two in a row. Just saying. During Saturday’s practice, ASJ lost a shoe and gave it to a fan, took off the other and gave it to another fan. After Sunday’s practice ASJ came and sat in the stands taking pictures (no Captain Morgan pose) and talking to the fans. Maybe he’s trying to improve his image.

General observation is that the defense looks very quick and aggressive. They put a lot of pressure on the passer with a variety of blitzes and actually covered receivers on the back end.

Saw Scott Reynolds walk by a couple times. That dude is as clean-cut as a drill instructor. Had this little raged pocket notebook on which he was jotting down his observations. Maybe the Pewter Report marketing staff could get Best Buy to sponsor “Best Buy’s Best Bets” at Draft time and give him a free I-Pad.

          Maybe ASJ is growing up.

I wish I was in town so I could see them practice. Would love to meet up with some of the PR fans and staff. Great job PR folks with the practice info. Gets me fired up from a distance. Go Buc’s.
