With Verner, Banks, and Grimes on the roster, I would be blown away if we go Hargreaves at #9. I just don’t see them thinking he’s a guy that will immediately improve this team. OL, DL, or Leonard Floyd!

Concur; it makes no sense to draft a 5′ 10″ CB at Spot 9.

    The vote is unanimous.
We need to put pressure on the QB to make him hurry his throw, rush his judgement and nervous in the pocket.
Would love to get a DL who finds in personally insulting when Cam Newton does his little Superman act in the end zone and relishes the opportunity to put him on the bench sulking with a towel over his head.
I want some nasty attitude combined with ability and heart.

We agree again drdneast. I too get annoyed at Newton’s antics and pouting. I think our lack of coverage in the secondary on the quick passes limited the D-line being able to get to the QB fast enough. I don’t recall as many times seeing a QB in the pocket with plenty of time to survey the field as I did cringing as he found an immediate open receiver. Perhaps is we hear what Banks is saying, the back end will shut down that stuff and allow the D-line another second or two to hit the target.
